Top 6 Reasons Responsible for Poor English

English is not a ghost from which is to be afraid. It is a common language mostly used all over the world. After Hindi, English is given the second place in the world. But this is also true, not everyone is perfect in writing and speaking English. No one is born English perfectionist, lots of factors make a person enable to conversant in English.  Some reasons which leads to poor English:-

1. Family Background:

A child learnt or grasp everything from his/her primary environment i.e., his/ her born place and family. Mostly Indian families do not speak in English, or you can say, they are not that much literate as well. And some families are literate but still they do not conversant in English. All this kind of typical surroundings make the children weak in English.

2. Education Background:

An English medium school graduated person will always have better English Vocabulary than to a Hindi medium person. Schooling, in fact, the primary education makes a lot of difference. Modern trend made the English Communication compulsory so every family look for the English medium school for their children’s study.

3. Less Confidence:

People having less confidence afraid of taking risk in their life. In fact, they are not even confident to speak in public. They set themselves with some limitations and do not want to come up from those limitations.

4. Fear:

Hesitation to speak in front of public may stop someone to communicate in English. Some people fear of getting negative comments. They do want to be matter of laugh so this fear stops them to speak in English.

5. Slow Mind Process:

This is common among people. Slow mind process also denotes less memory. It is not a serious disease. Memory can be improved through continuous learning. But still people suffering from the low memory power also unable to learn English word and their slow mind make them paralyze of learning English.

6. Lack of Practice:

Whatever you start, it needs practice. In fact, a most popular phrase is also written in this favor- Practice makes a man perfect.  People sometime don’t have companion to practice with or not have sufficient time to practicing for English. This also leads to poor English.

Whatever the reason is, one must try hard to remove his weakness.
